[gatein-dev] API branch has been merged to trunk

Folks, The API branch has been merged to trunk (-r6848:7030) with the initial implementation of the GateIn public API. We still have work to do: optimization and documentation come to mind but at least, we have something to build on. There are a couple of example portlets that showcase some of the API features. They can be found in examples/portlets/api. They both retrieve the API entry point (GateIn object) via the PortletContext in their init methods, which is now automatically injected into portlet contexts when they are deployed.
