Current in GateIn we are setting -Xshare:auto as part of the jvm parameters. According to the Sun documentation, auto is the default setting and this option is only available with Sun JDK. (http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/technotes/guides/vm/class-data-sharing.... ). When we try and run GateIn on the IBM jdk, it fails complaining that it doesn't know about the Xshare option. Is there a reason why we are setting this? Its a pain to find the original committed due to the multiple svn repos that were used during the merging. Its also set in a bunch of other eXo projects. It should be the default on the Sun JDK, I just don't know why we have it specifically set. I have not run into any problems when I remove this setting on my own machine, and this prevents the server from starting with the IBM jdk (since a Sun jdk only setting).
