GateIn Api Discussion

There have been some discussion on creating an api package to create a
simple way for people to interact and manipulate a gatein portal.
Example situations would be things like creating a gadget, adding an
application to a category, creating a page and adding it to a node,
adding applications to a page, managing users, etc...
Two different solutions have been created, both are a bit different in
approach. These are preliminary and are not meant to be complete, it is
more meant to start of a discussion:

Lets start a discussion on the above apis and what you would expect to
come from an api like this.

New blog

We are trying to reactivate our project blog and as part of this effort we moved it to jboss.org infrastructure. It went live so I would like to invite everyone to participate. I would also like to highlight that this is NOT a blog only for developers but "GateIn Portal Project *Community* Blog" - whatever your role or engagement in the project is you should be involved!

The rules are simple:
- Send me your jboss.org login and I will assign you permissions to create content there
- Let Bolek/Julien/Thomas know that you want to post a blog entry. I don't think we are going to have any kind of censorship or much of moderation but for certain topics we will need to be in sync to maximize buzz we generate

GateIn 3.2 release

Hi,
It has been a while since last major GateIn release so we decided it is high time to push 3.2 to final. We had a lot of bug fixes and new features committed since 3.1 GA. Few of important improvements are still in the works (like navigation optimizations) so we'll probably do final release around second half of July. However to get things moving I will be tagging GateIn 3.2-M01 (Milestone 1) this week. This will involve changing versioning scheme from current 3.2.Beta01-SNAPSHOT and we'll follow with 3.2-M02-SNAPSHOT in trunk.
