You should also check the rest of the file, you have many issues of the same type such as: <target-component>org.exoplatform.services.cache.ExoCacheFactory </target-component> .. <type>org.exoplatform.services.cache.impl.jboss.ExoCacheCreatorPlugin </type> .. <target-component>org.exoplatform.services.cache.CacheService </target-component> It looks like someone re-formated the code with his IDE
