The main consequence is to remove the weird behavior of running the
tests without including the portlet module, i.e without using the
aggregator pom. So now it is possible to run the unit tests from the
test module directly.

The tests don't compile for me since the profiles section of the portlet
pom.xml wasn't copied over to the test pom.xml. I have committed that
section into the test.pom.
But its hanging during one of the tests so there is still something
strange happening.
