yes it can create such issue for people in community using the mobile extension.
however it is an extension and we wanted to make it as an improvement as having so many
portlets is not whishable and it makes on tomcat boot performance issue as it has to
deploy many war files instead of one. (we can clearly say that doing this design is an
packaging error)
for JPP you can sanitize it and keep the current portlet layout for JPP customers that
will not have to migrate.
