missing log file causes InvalidPluginConfigurationException, which causes the JBossAS resources (and all descendants) to appear as if they are DOWN. this is very wrong, and means that if a user on some box deletes or migrates some log files as part of a natural rotation / archiving mechanism, the resources will incorrectly appear down until that log file comes back. What's worse is when you have availability-based alerts set up on that resource, the alerts you get are actually false positives because the resources aren't really down...it's the JBossAS plugin that can't tell the different between a missing log file and a downed resource.

QA: please test restart on boxes other then RHEL too - especially to see if there may be lingering ports around - meaning that the start after stop fails, because a port is reported as being stil in use.
If this happens, we need to wait some time between stop() and start() in restart.

When use the Create New (WAR/EAR) resource in JBoss AS inventory It would be nice if I could set other path differently. That is not relative to AS config. set.
Today the field "Deploy Directory" accept only a path relative to AS config. (field description: "Path to deploy the file. This must be a path relative to the AS configuration set in use.")
This is necessary to deploy resource on shared directories. In environments with "n" JBoss instances sharing the same resources deployed on the same directory (e.g /java/cluster-deploy/MyApps.WAR).
