Restarting agent with --clean. 2) In the server side logs I see: 2009-02-23 11:04:15,693 INFO [org.rhq.enterprise.server.discovery.DiscoveryBossBean] Resource [Resource[id=501057, type=JBossAS Server, key=/home/test_jon/jon03/perf/server/trunk/dev-container/jbossas/server/default, name=jon03.qa.atl2.redhat.com RHQ Server, JBossAS 4.2.1.GA default (0.0.0.0:2099), version=4.2.1.GA]] changed its version from [4.2.1.GA] to [] (10:08:18 AM) mazz: ccrouch: that was code that was fixed recently - the inventory report is telling us about a new version (10:08:29 AM) mazz: why is the JBossAS plugin telling us it doesn't know the verison (its blank) (10:09:39 AM) mazz: I'm saying up until I fixed the version update, we never updated the version strings (10:09:54 AM) mazz: (this was the problem where you would upgrade a resource and we'd never know the new version) (10:09:56 AM) ccrouch: ok, so we've got a problem then :-) (10:10:06 AM) mazz: yeah, and the problem is with the JBossAS plugin (10:10:43 AM) mazz: because we WERE told about the JBossAS version before - that's how come it knows it was 4.2.1.GA (10:10:50 AM) ccrouch: right (10:10:53 AM) mazz: but a later inventory report came in with an empty version string (10:11:25 AM) ccrouch: right it was in the server side inventory already (10:11:49 AM) ccrouch: anyways i'll raise a jopr jira, this could be a problem with *any* plugin :-(
