Heiko W. Rupp commented on JOPR-17:
-----------------------------------
While this is not nice, it is a "feature" of how the per minute metrics are
computed.
The underlying issue is not easy to solve, as we would need detect very short outages of
the
managed resource (during a reboot of it), which we can't always detect.
But then, it could be as easy as detecting if we have a trends up metric, so that the
delta is always positive. If it is negative for trendsup, we don't take the real
previous value, but reset to zero.
I remember that ips implemented something like this in the past ?
measurement subsystem server in rhq-server plugin reporting negative
numbers
