Hi Jesper
I am not sure what the reason and benefit is for such a standalone java app. The current
approach allows this already by extending the schemaXXX.xml files in the gen module.
In general, it would be easy to implement this but I am a little bit afraid that users are
expecting an out-of-the-box tool that is able to process any xsd schemas, which is not the
case currently. It reduces the creation time of the descriptors from some weeks to some
hours. The time consuming work is afterwards to write tests to verify the produced
descriptor code.
Create tool for XSD->Java generator

Project: ShrinkWrap Descriptors
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: gen
Reporter: Jesper Pedersen
Create a Java tool that can generate Java classes based on an XSD.
This way projects outside of ShrinkWrap/Descriptors can support their own JEE
extensions.
The tool should be published as a Maven artifact.
