Andrew Rubinger commented on SHRINKRES-42:
------------------------------------------
What's the use case? Why try to resolve a known File path via the ShrinkWrap Maven
Resolver? Why not simply import it as a new ShrinkWrap archive from the file?
MavenDependencyResolver is unable to resolve absolute paths
-----------------------------------------------------------
Key: SHRINKRES-42
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/SHRINKRES-42
Project: ShrinkWrap Resolvers
Issue Type: Bug
Components: impl-maven
Affects Versions: 1.0.0-beta-6
Reporter: Tomáš Schlosser
Assignee: Andrew Rubinger
When using MavenDependencyResolver and dependencies with system scope, i.e.
{noformat}
<dependency>
<groupId>com.sun</groupId>
<artifactId>tools</artifactId>
<version>1.6</version>
<scope>system</scope>
<systemPath>${java.home}/../lib/tools.jar</systemPath>
</dependency>
{noformat}
I get an exception saying that shrinkwrap requires absolute path.
