Summary: Add "exportAsString"-esque facility for Node SPI (was: XML
representation for toString())
This to be contracted at the SPI, not the API level. It may be helpful for debugging
purposes to see the XML output of a specified Node (which may be a child of the root Node
ie. Descriptor).
