Request for review: GTNPORTAL-3459 Permissions Move Apps, Move Containers are not inherited to a newly created page
by Peter Palaga
Hi *,
from my PoV this is a follow up of GTNPORTAL-3364 "Implement UI part for
Restricted layout setting" done by nttuyen.
The present issue:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/GTNPORTAL-3459
When creating new portal site, there are 4 permissions to set - Access,
Edit, Move Apps, Move Containers. When I create new portal and set some
permissions, then create new page in this portal, the owner of the new
page is the newly created portal, and Access and Edit permissions are
inherited or "copied" into the permissions of the new page. But Move
Apps, Move Containers permissions are set to "Everyone". This
permissions should probably also inherit the permissions from the owning
portal.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create new portal site, set some permissions
2. Go to this new portal site, create new page. On the 3rd step of
creating the page, in View Page Properties, Permissions tab are
inherited only Access and Edit permissions.
Could you please review my fix?

Thanks,
Peter

Re: [gatein-dev] Enabled / disabled user icons
by Gabriel Cardoso
I think a good solution for that would be to update the column title “Enabled” to “Status”. Also, with this kind of label, the icon must indicate the current status. So, grey icon for disabled and green icon for enabled. The tooltip also must indicate the current status, so it should say “Disabled User” for gray icons and “Enabled User” for green icons.
When the user clicks on the icon, it should change for the opposite, and the text in the tooltip should be updated.
What do you think?

Enabled / disabled user icons
by Lucas Ponce
Hello,
We have an open issue related Enabled / disabled user icons:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1076175
I also attached a screenshot.
It looks like that enabled users have a grey icon with a "disabled user" alt text, and disabled users have a green icon with "enabled user".
Our first thought is wondering if the icons are mixed.
If not, if grey icon are for enabled users and green one for disabled users, may be the alt text should represent the action instead the state.
Or may be, it can be more clear to have a different icon for enabled / disabled.
What do you think ?
Thanks !

Gatein SPNGEO SSO error: decryption key is of type NULL
by Tuyen The Nguyen
Hi all,
I am trying to config SPNEGO SSO for gatein 3.7 jboss packaging, i did
following the guideline at
https://docs.jboss.org/author/display/GTNPORTAL37/SPNEGO
- After installed Kerberos, the general authentication seems to work, i
logged in with root successfully, the result:
exo@exo:~$ kinit -A root
Password for root(a)local.network:
exo@exo:~$ klist
Ticket cache: FILE:/tmp/krb5cc_1000
Default principal: root(a)local.network
Valid starting Expires Service principal
24/04/2014 10:54:41 24/04/2014 20:54:41
krbtgt/local.network(a)local.network
renew until 25/04/2014 10:54:36
- Then i configured firefox and gatein as guideline, but when i access to
gatein and click to login, the authentication is failed and i see error in
console:
10:09:30,648 ERROR

I tried to find solution with google and it has some topic in jboss forum
https://community.jboss.org/thread/204614 and
https://community.jboss.org/thread/204876?tstart=0, they recommend i used
java 7, but when i switch to java 7 (jdk 1.7.0_21) i still see the same
error.
I'm deploying gatein on ubuntu 13.04 and java 7 (jdk 1.7.0_21)
Is there any idea for fixing my problem?
Thanks!
TuyenNT.
