Not only the burden of doing the mapping and maintaining it, but you
also have documentation, and possibly of supporting multiple versions,
etc. I would rather support one format starting out and add additional
ones if there's a strong need rather then remove a format because a)
it's hard to maintain, b) users don't really use one vs the other.
