It should work with JBossWS client as well.
Are you able to dump exchanged messages?
This could help you to analyze the problem.
From the exception you posted above
it seems to me you're
most probably getting HTML response
from remote machine instead of WSDL.

Sure you can, we don't care where WSDL is published. We just need proper URL pointing
to WSDL file.
