Makes sense. We should also provide a migration path for the stored users. If
we moved to PL IDM that'd be easy, but not sure that'll happen straight
away. Maybe we could provide a PL IDM user federation provider?
Today, people are not using PL IDM and SAML stuff together. Instead of IDM, they are just
using JAAS LoginModules to load data from their identity stores. We had some people asking
for a PL IDM JAAS LoginModule, but that was not in our plans.
Not sure about the PL IDM provider ... Probably not ... If they want to use PL IDM with
the existing SPI it should be fine. But in the future, we can add a lot more configuration
options for data federation once IDM is fully integrated with KC. During our F2F we
discussed some very nice features for that ...
