I see that resteasy supports async filters (Section 36.1.1 of the manual): - was there ever an attempt to try to add this feature to the JAX-RS specification and if so then could someone provide me with a link to the discussion? - do you think it would be worthwhile for me to ask them to include it in a future JAX-RS release.
