After testing a few different sets of settings, I have a fairly simple & straightforward adjustment in place. I also tried to apply the same to the pages with sections that needed vertical alignment (on the main page and community page) but the flex tags don't seem to stay consistent vertically on the browsers I tried in, so I removed my attempted code changes there.
