Hi, I'm not sure I really understand your question. The manager's backend component(s) can't be run on Vert.x 3. It's a WAR-type implementation, so you can run it on Jetty, WF, EAP, etc - but not Vert.x 3. The gateway is a *separate* component, and there's a Vert.x 3 implementation. So, for instance, you could have the manager running on Jetty and the gateway running on Vert.x.
