I don't know if you are still planning to do the release on Thursday,
but I want to give you a heads up that the subsystem might not be ready
by then.
They've made a change to the WildFly controller API that breaks
backwards compatibility in our subsystem. Hopefully, this can be
resolved quickly, but I wanted to let everyone know just in case it
takes longer.

schedule it for 1.0.Final?
Will our new subsystem be compatible with older versions of Wildfly?

of the things I'm worried about. I'll do my best to get it

If it is not compatible, then we need to fork the subsystem code to
support both.

Yes. It turns out that it will as long as we go ahead and compile the
subsystem against the new version of the API.
