As of now, the plan is to use React. But
I've learned the hard way that
things can change quickly.
Also my hopes are that the Admin Console becomes truly pluggable/extensible one day. At
the moment, if you have two GUI extensions from different authors, you have to hop between
the themes, which I myself consider a substantial flaw.
The new account management
will be extensible. I've done a POC for this
and it works out well. I expect that we will use the same techniques
for admin console.
