The AccountService class was originally intended to be both a browser
service as well as a REST API. Some endpoints on AccountService don't
work. Should I be fixing the Account Service for REST invocations? Are
we still indending the AccountService to be accessible via REST calls?

I think that Stian already started on REST support in AccountService. I
saw some commits around this some time ago. But it's probably not yet
pushed, just somewhere in his private repo. Not 100% sure..

Yes, this is being worked on by Stian and myself. It's in a private
repo now but we will probably merge to master soon after he returns from
holiday.

If you want to go ahead and write REST support for that then I don't
think you will be interfering with anything we are doing.
Right now, what we have is not very comprehensive. It's just enough to
add a little live data to the new account console.
