[resteasy-dev] Building the main Branch

Hello All, The main branch of RESTEasy is in a state that does not and will not happen often. if you need to build main you need to use the jakarta-staging profile. This can be accomplished by passing the -Pjakarta-staging parameter. There was also an unannounced release of 7.0.0.Alpha1. The reason for this is RESTEasy is a ratifying implementation [1][2] of the Jakarta REST 4.0 specification[3]. This also makes the 7.0.0.Alpha1 version unusable unless you use the Jakarta staging repository. One thing to note, if for any reason listed above you enable the Jakarta staging repository, you should really purge the downloaded artifacts once you're done using them. These are staged and potentially not final releases and should be treated as such.
