Hello All,
Soon I plan to bump the version on the main branch of RESTEasy to
7.0.0.Alpha1. This will also come with a minimum Java version of 17,
possibly 21 see https://github.com/jakartaee/rest/issues/1167. This is all
to prepare for Jakarta RESTful Web Services 4.0.

The version bump and requirement of Java SE 17 has been done on the main
