Steve Ebersole commented on HHH-4659:
-------------------------------------
Rather than a 'default access type (concurrency strategy)' property, I am thinking
a better option is to look at the specified "provider" and chose a default based
on that. Perhaps we could add a org.hibernate.cache.RegionFactory#getDefaultAccessType()
method to get the org.hibernate.cache.access.AccessType to use by default.
We could add a property, but my concern is that we do not do any kind of
"shifting" currently if a provider does not support a particular access type
(ala, user requested "transactional", but we don't support that so lets
"shift" that to "read-write"). That's why i was thinking allowing
the provider to tell us is better.
Add support for standard declarative cache (@Cacheable)
