Hello, if it helps, I already had the same problems with the option -Dmaven.test.skip.
As I understand it, with this option maven does not create the test jar which are used by
other modules.
If you want to skip tests, a better way is to use -DskipTests.

Yes, I have been following the guide :) The only change to the process is
that, to speed up the build, i wanted to skip tests.
OS: MacOSX 10.13.6
Java: 1.8.0_131 (i.e. > JDK 8)
Maven: 3.6.1 (i.e. > 3.1.1)
