I don't think it's good option. The version of various modules changed
etc and especially 1.4.0 is supposed to run on latest Wildfly 9.0.1 when
1.3.1 used older version.
It's better to start with 1.4.0 server distribution and just migrate
your database. Or if you want to use the same Wildfly server for
Keycloak and your apps, then use keycloak server-overlay distribution
and apply it to Wildfly 9.0.1 server and then deploy your applications
on this server.

Thanks Marek!
But, can i upgrade the keycloak 1.3.1 subsystem to 1.4.0 in the same
wildfly installation?

Hi,
you can just download 1.4.0 distribution and configure it with
same DB, which you previously used for 1.3.1. If you use default
H2 db, you may just need copy files from your previous 1.3.1
distribution from standalone/data directory to 1.4.0. Ideally, you
can backup your DB before upgrade, so you won't lose the data if
upgrade fails. But ideally upgrade DB should work fine unless
there is bug...
