We pushed a release candidate for 2.5.0 today but it will be a few weeks
until it is GA. The 2.6.0 release will be about a month behind that.
I think we should plan on giving a little bit longer window before we drop
Java 7 support, but if we could drop it in the next 3-6 months without
causing anyone problems that would be nice.

We have integrated WindUp with Maven and our Development Lifecycle, and

WindUp by command-line.
I don't want to be a stopper to change to Java 8, so a I good idea is
could be make a version Java7/8 compatible and the next one only in Java 8.
This roadmap es very common in a lot of proyects.
Ok, no problem. Speaking for myself, it's not a stopper. We can do 2.6.0
with Java 7.
But, when is 2.6.0 version is comming?
No guarantees, I think within a month, but Dan Smith will tell you the
actual plans.
