Yes, changing the REST client to parse JSON responses should be doable. But then, I'll
take a closer look at the changes in the RESTful administration area of GF 3.1.2;
apparently, CSRF protection has come in this release -
http://blogs.steeplesoft.com/2012/03/glassfish-3-1-2-and-rest-security/ so I'm going
to take a look at other additions that may render our container extension incompatible
with GF 3.1.1.
