Let's say in the pom.xml you have the following dependency: <dependency> <groupId>org.apache.felix</groupId> <artifactId>org.apache.felix.configadmin</artifactId> <version>${configadmin.version}</version> </dependency> then it would be great if you could install that bundle simply through some installBundle("org.apache.felix", "org.apache.felix.configadmin") API which would infer the version from the maven context. Both Pax Exam and Apache ServiceMix testing have this feature and it makes integration with the maven buildsystem really easy.
