Arjan Veenstra commented on HHH-3205:
-------------------------------------
No I won't write a test case. Did you even take half a look at the patch?
Explain to me how that patch can *ever* have any impact at all on any existing hibernate
mapping. It just allows the creation of mappings which currently cannot exist, since the
can't exist I cannot break them. And since it doesn't change any code it cannot
break anything else either.
Dtd is missing lazy attribute for <map-key-many-to-many> and
<index-many-to-many>

Key: HHH-3205
URL:
http://opensource.atlassian.com/projects/hibernate/browse/HHH-3205
Project: Hibernate Core
Issue Type: New Feature
Components: core
Affects Versions: 3.2.6
Environment: All
Reporter: Arjan Veenstra
Attachments: dtd.patch
The dtd found at
http://hibernate.sourceforge.net/hibernate-mapping-3.0.dtd is does not
specify a lazy propery for the <map-key-many-to-many> and
<index-many-to-many>. As a result it is impossible to create a map which doesn't
lazy-load it's key value. (default-lazy="false" does not help either.)
Using a custom dtd (see attached patch) the lazy property can be specified and works as
expected.
