(See MySQL 5.0.12 Release Notes at http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/news-5-0-12.html and JOIN syntax information at http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/join.html for more information) Previous to this change the following query was valid: SELECT * FROM t1, t2 JOIN t3 ON (t1.i1 = t3.i3); Now it must be written as: SELECT * FROM (t1, t2) JOIN t3 ON (t1.i1 = t3.i3); or SELECT * FROM t1 JOIN t2 JOIN t3 ON (t1.i1 = t3.i3);
