Luiz Henrique Decaro commented on HHH-4341:
-------------------------------------------
Not a minor bug at all.
This has also been a blocker to me too.
I'm writting an app from the ground up and when i decided to generate the schema in
mysql 5.0 this appeared as a flaw.
How I have at about 500 colums that need to be updated manualy because of this. (I'm
trying to avoid writing xml files or using the xdoclet)
Definitely not good. Could someone please give a look at this?
There is no annotation to specify default value for a column

Key: HHH-4341
URL:
http://opensource.atlassian.com/projects/hibernate/browse/HHH-4341
Project: Hibernate Core
Issue Type: New Feature
Components: annotations
Reporter: Nicolae Bucalaete
Priority: Minor
In hibernate annotation you can't specify default value for a column.
If you use xml files for mapping then you have this feature.
I consider that this is a major problem with annotation.
