I am guessing the code, since it makes sense that only loaded collections should be affected. I think it should be: public Iterator getCascadableChildrenIterator(EventSource session, CollectionType collectionType, Object collection) { // persists don't cascade to uninitialized collections return CascadingAction.getLoadedElementsIterator(session, collectionType, collection); }
