Hardy Ferentschik commented on BVAL-26:
---------------------------------------
Is this still valid. If I recall correctly we will have a separate project for the TCK.
This means we can leave things as they are. However, I agree that we should try to create
as many BV provider independent tests as possible. These can be used in the TCK.
The test suite assumes Hibernate Validator as the BV provider

Project: Bean Validation
Issue Type: Bug
Components: ri-general
Reporter: Emmanuel Bernard
The test suite must be generic enough to test all BV providers, this will be the TCK.
I check the bootstrap tests and they have this assumption big time:
- hardcoded implementation
- tests relying on specific exception messages
- has some implementation specific assumptions on the framework
