The current SybaseDialect functionality will be moved into AbstractTransactSQLDialect and SybaseDialect will be changed to simply extend AbstractTransactSQLDialect. SybaseDialect will be deprecated. Insetad, Sybase11Dialect, SybaseASE15Dialect (a new class), SybaseAnywhereDialect, or SQLServerDialect should be used. In summary, AbstractTransactSQLDialect (abstract, package-private) The following will extend AbstractTransactSQLDialect: SQLServerDialect SybaseDialect (simply extends; nothing new) (deprecated) Sybase11Dialect SybaseASE15Dialect SybaseAnywhereDialect
