Steve Ebersole updated HHH-3261:
--------------------------------
Component/s: core
there were no intentional changes in this area. where were you seeing this specifically?
Do not wrap exceptions raised by event listeners (at init or destroy
time)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: HHH-3261
URL:
http://opensource.atlassian.com/projects/hibernate/browse/HHH-3261
Project: Hibernate3
Issue Type: Bug
Components: core
Affects Versions: 3.3.0.CR1
Reporter: Emmanuel Bernard
Assignee: Steve Ebersole
Fix For: 3.3.0.CR2
3.3 does wrap event listeners exceptions into 2 layers of HibernateException.
Should we leave the exceptions naked instead? This is what the old 3.2 codebase was
doing?
