It's currently possible to get the entity class using: ProjectionConstants.DOCUMENT, and then: ((Document)tuple[0]).getField("_hibernate_class") But it would be nice to have the equivalent available as a first class projection constant. Looks like this is currently a TODO in the source code for org.hibernate.search.ProjectionConstants. But you can't vote on a TODO! :)
