I am not able to re-produce this problem. Can you generate a testcase? Also look at -

_Product_ is a mapped superclass with a many to one to _Shop_. When generating the
metamodel the attribute _shop_ is in the model.
@ManyToOne fields in a @MappedSuperclass are not taken into account
