Key: HHH-1320
URL:
http://opensource.atlassian.com/projects/hibernate/browse/HHH-1320
Project: Hibernate Core
Issue Type: New Feature
Affects Versions: 3.1
Environment: 3.0.5
Reporter: joneric Wennerstrom
Priority: Minor
I am building a web app which will use hibernate for it's persistence layer.
I would like to place the hibernate.cfg.xml file in the WEB-INF directory, and then place
all of my xxxx.hbm.xml mapping files in the /WEB-INF/hibernate/ directory.
I have not been able to do this (at least nothing I tried worked, but perhaps I'm
just not doing it right).
So for congiguring hibernate, I would so something like the following:
configuration.configure("WEB-INF/hibernate.cfg.xml");
So for example, my hibernate.cfg.xml file would have the following mappings:
<mapping resource="WEB-INF/hibernate/user.hbm.xml"/>
<mapping resource="WEB-INF/hibernate/settings.hbm.xml"/>
