WildFly Calendary Proposal
by Jason Lee
I have a PR open that is a first step in creating a calendar of
WildFly-related events: https://github.com/wildfly/wildfly.org/pull/439
Brian does a great job of emailing the WF dev schedule to this list, but,
for me, it tends to get buried and lost. What I'd love to be able to do is
subscribe to a .ics and have events show up on my calendar. This is a step
toward that. What would be nice is to take that one step further and make
it available in a human-friendly form on wildfly.org as well.
…
[View More]All that said, I would love feedback on the idea itself, the contents of
the calendar, etc. to see if this would be useful to more than just myself.
Additionally, I know we have various community efforts going on at the
moment, so if this overlaps with any of that, I'm happy to roll this into
those efforts.

31 Final (tentative)

Fri Jan 12 -- WildFly Core ready to tag
Mon Jan 15 -- Final merges and checks
Tue Jan 16 -- Buffer day
Wed Jan 17 -- Tag and deploy to repository.jboss.org

Fri Jan 19 -- Other release deliverables not ready on release day.
As is usual for our January releases, the gap between the beta and final is
longer than usual.
Note that the dates for WildFly 31 Final are still tentative. There's been
some consideration of extending it an additional week to give time to
prepare some promotional activities around the release.

Deprecating WildFly Arquillian Domain Support
by James Perkins
Hello All,
Did the title scare you? If so let me know :) We are debating on
deprecating the support for domain mode in the WildFly Arquillian Adaptor.
The main reason is I'm terrible about remembering to port fixes that go
into the standalone adaptor to the domain adaptor. Plus, looking at the
available stats I do not see the domain artifacts being downloaded at all.
If you use domain mode with WildFly Arquillian, please let me know.
Otherwise, we are likely going to deprecate and remove the …

Thanks in advance!
