Thinking about it, there is no advantage to using the maven plugin if we
create a release and branch on jboss-jakarta-jaxrs-api_spec. If we can use
the same GA and just a different version to release to JBoss Nexus we can
just use
.
If that looks okay I can push it to the upstream jboss repository. Or maybe
just create a tag then build and release off the tag.
If we can't keep the same GA, I don't think we really need to release
anything to JBoss Nexus. I'll workaround it for now.

In that case I do think it could be done. I could submit a PR to that
repository that does this.
