Hello Andrew,
Any JDBC 4 compliant driver can be deployed by placing it into the
$WFLY_HOME/standalone/deployments, via the WildFly Web Console or by using
a CLI, check
https://docs.wildfly.org/24/Admin_Guide.html#jdbc-driver-installation
Are you sure the driver you are using is JDBC 4 compliant? and, have you
verified the same procedure fails in a clean environment? I mean,
downloading a fresh server from
https://www.wildfly.org/downloads. This is
something that should work out of the box.
Regards,
Yeray

Hello everyone,
I've been trying to add the oracle ojdbc6.jar to wildfly-23 using the
jboss-cli but with luck. So I am now trying a different approach - I'm
going back to what I did with earlier versions of wildfly, editing the
config by hand. But I'm having no luck with that either. Still, I think I
stand a better chance with that if I can get some help please. Has anyone
else managed to add Oracle to a wildfly config?
