Hi Thomas,
did you find the root cause of the duplicate logging messages? I've spend 2 hours
looking into it and didn't find anything.
Here is what I did:
I compared the contents of lib directories in hawkular=commons-embedded-cassandra-ear.ear
before the issue and after the issue
the new version have dependencies on slf4j, logback and log4j (quite a mess) the old one
doesn't have the dependency on log4j
So I've added couple of <exclusions> in the pom in hawkular-commons/* modules to
exclude the log4j jars, but it didn't help
I've also tried to provide a configuration for logback (by
-Dlogback.configurationFile=foo and also programmatically in
EmbeddedCassandraService.java), but it wasn't taken into consideration
no success :/
..and +1 on C* lvl to WARN (I have an alias for that and I've been running the
hawkular with it for couple of months)
