[JBoss JIRA] (ISPN-9072) Document Protobuf annotated collection null set callbacks

> When using collection fields in Protobuf annotated classes, empty collections are marshalled into the same value as {{null}}, because Protobuf only has repeated fields and no fields is represented as {{null}}.
> This means that if you have an entity with an empty collection, when it's deserialized the collection will be null. This can be confusing for users and should be documented.

[JBoss JIRA] (ISPN-9071) NullPointerException in server for counters
by Pedro Ruivo (JIRA)
Pedro Ruivo created ISPN-9071:
---------------------------------
Summary: NullPointerException in server for counters
Key: ISPN-9071
URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/ISPN-9071
Project: Infinispan
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Clustered Counter, Server
Reporter: Pedro Ruivo
Assignee: Pedro Ruivo
In standalone, a NPE is thrown when you invoke any counter operation.
{noformat}
ERROR [org.infinispan.server.hotrod.HotRodEncoder] (HotRod-ServerWorker-5-6) ISPN005023: Exception encoding message EmptyResponse{version=27, messageId=5, cacheName='org.infinispan.COUNTER', clientIntel=3, operation=COUNTER_CREATE, status=OperationNotExecuted, topologyId=-1}: java.lang.NullPointerException
at org.infinispan.server.hotrod.Encoder2x.writeHeader(Encoder2x.java:62)
at org.infinispan.server.hotrod.HotRodEncoder.encode(HotRodEncoder.java:70)
{noformat}
In that line, we are trying to get the {{CacheManager}} via {{addressCache}}, however, the {{addressCache}} isn't needed in standalone mode and it is {{null}}.
We should get the {{CacheManager}} from the {{HotRodServer}} instance.

Your idea can be a true.
I see folder /tmp/infinispanTempFiles/RocksDBMultiCacheStoreFunctionalTest/rocksdb .
Content of the folder is:
data-testStartStopOfBackupResurrectsDeletedKey0___defaultcache/ expired-data-testStartStopOfBackupResurrectsDeletedKey0___defaultcache/
data-testStartStopOfBackupResurrectsDeletedKey1___defaultcache/ expired-data-testStartStopOfBackupResurrectsDeletedKey1___defaultcache/
And may be they are meeting sometime :-(

[JBoss JIRA] (ISPN-9068) Indexer throw exception in cluster mode
by Gustavo Fernandes (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/ISPN-9068?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.... ]
Gustavo Fernandes commented on ISPN-9068:
-----------------------------------------
I was able to reproduce in a [unit test|https://gist.github.com/gustavonalle/fe3359b500bd3de69c77fdd9de62d7ab], it happens only when there is a cache store involved. The fact that it works when all nodes are in the same host, is probably because all the nodes share the same path in the cache store.
I'm investigating the cause of the bug.
