Hi,
I am adding my project to a stream down wildfly v23 (withou microservices modules) and I
use smallrye-config in my project. When adding my deployment with the microprofile
configuration package incleded (for example
"org.apache.geronimo.config:geronimo-config-impl:1.2.2") the souces in the file
org.eclipse.microprofile.config.spi.ConfigSource get automatically added by wildfly but
the implementation class is not found.
I get the following error

I don't understand how the system is able to find the file
org.eclipse.microprofile.config.spi.ConfigSource but not the implementation classes that
are in the same package.

Hello Alvaro,
You might have better luck on KeyCloak list or forum (
https://www.keycloak.org/community). WildFly itself should ship with the
SmallRye implementation of the MP Config. I'm not sure whether or not it
can be replaced with another implementation, though I've never tried.
What does the module.xml file look like for

only knew that it doesn't work. I thought that if the willdfly doesn't provide the
module I could add it myself in my deployment. This is what I am trying to do. But
probably I am packaging the module wrongly.

exist?

By default WildFly does ship with the MicroProfile Config API and SmallRye
implementation. I'm not sure you can override the implementation by
including it in your deployment or not.
