[wildfly-dev] Re: Better synergies for WildFly Container images

This new proposal would not involve the (S2I) runtime image. It would only impact the Docker image at https://quay.io/repository/wildfly/wildfly <https://quay.io/repository/wildfly/wildfly> and unblock it to provide often requested feature (esp. JDK 17 and multiarch). I did not investigate moving the S2I Builder and Runtime image to Temurin. This would be a separate effort as our Builder image is closely tied to the OpenJDK images (we are reusing their cekit modules).
