Analysis on this showed, that the DBunit-Metadata which includes the Datatype for a column was not populated with correct data, but with DataType.UNKOWN. DBUnit's SortedTable then assumes String as the datatype and for example primary keys will not be sorted correctly. The solution whould be to not ignore the datatype information delivered by Jackson, but put them into the DBUnit-Column instance(es).
