I've applied the patch given in HHH-3434 to the fresh copy of the current git
repository (4.0) and tested with unit test given in the patch here -- works just fine. So
whatever suites the hibernate developers / community better.

supportsIdGenWithBulkInsertion method of HqlSqlWalker explicitly checks if the id
generator is either SequenceGenerator or PostInsertIdentifierGenerator, I think this could
be extended to include Assigned id generator, attached is the patch for that
