Also, it only seems to be correct for associations. Here is how it is defined: final boolean alwaysDirtyCheck = type.isAssociationType() && ( (AssociationType) type ).isAlwaysDirtyChecked(); It worked before because I used the following for the "checkable" argument in the StandardProperty constructor: alwaysDirtyCheck || simpleProperty.isUpdatable() AttributeBinding.isUpdatable() has been removed now, so now alwaysDirtyCheck is passed as the "checkable" arg.
